Coke x Ozen: Sing to The Rhythm of The Summer

The issue at hand lies in the neglect of young musicians within the stagnant music industry in Uzbekistan, compounded by internet censorship, which includes the blocking of platforms like TikTok. Additionally, there are constraints on artistic expression, with criticisms directed towards male short socks and restrictions on bright and showy appearances. 

To address these challenges, we partnered with Coke and Ozen to launch the "Sing to The Rhythm of Summer" music contest. This initiative encourages young musicians to embrace their uncensored creativity and seize new opportunities in the industry. 

Our efforts have yielded significant results: 

  • A total of 1539 users registered to the Telegram Bot, indicating a strong interest and engagement in the contest and its offerings.  

  • A remarkable 351 unique tracks were submitted, underscoring the depth of talent and creativity among young musicians in Uzbekistan.  

  • The "Sing to The Rhythm of Summer" contest has provided a platform for 10 new musicians to showcase their talent and become part of the Coke x Ozen album, amplifying their exposure and opportunities in the music industry.  

  • Our non-format music content has transcended digital platforms and gained traction on traditional TV channels, expanding the reach and visibility of young musicians. 

  • Through sponsorships and widespread recognition in the region, participating artists have received support and acknowledgment, further fueling their artistic endeavors. 

These achievements underscore the impact of our initiative in nurturing and promoting the next generation of musical talent while challenging the constraints imposed by the current music industry landscape.
